In town visiting wanted to use the gym, $20 for a day pass. Called ahead and staff told me I could get a pass online or in the gym. Drove to the gym with my girlfriend. Told me on site $20 day fee of sign up each , Staff told me this is a Planet Fitness rule but I'm fairly certain the Franchisee made this rule. I travel all over the country and have paid for a couple of bucks for the day at other planet fitness locations.
Been a member for 4 months and I've never experienced such unfriendly staff. They don't make conversation at all, sometimes don't even speak to you (not even hello or good morning) when you come in and have them scan your card. And today the "trainer" was downright rude when I asked him for help reaching something. He didn't so much as speak one word to me and when I said thank you as he was walking off, he didn't say a word. I said "Do you speak?" And he turned around with a huff and said "I said thank you!" What? Why would he say thank you when I said thank you and NO, he said not a word. How can you be so rude to the clients and run a business?! I will be cancelling my membership. Not worth even the cheap rates they charge. The atmosphere makes all the difference in your workout experience folks.
When I upgraded to the tanning ,staff didn't tell me that there was only ONE LAY DOWN BED. Most places have a few lay down beds and maybe one stand up.no matter what time of day or night I go there is a l on g g g g wait. Staff hits start button the second they hand you room card. Tanning rooms are down the hall so if you run you may be able to get undressed before bed starts as you only have 3 minutes before bed comes on. Forget putting on lotion. While I was waiting on bed just now, two female staff were behind the desk laughing and making g fun of a customer. They weren't even trying to be quiet about it. Highly unprofessional. Thank God I'm not under contract. That's it for me!
Absolute worst gym I have ever been to extremely rude workers on top of a $20 day pass SCAM ALERT IHESR THEY ARE EMBEZZLING MONEY AS WELL
I went in the first two days I joined in January after the second day I never returned. I contacted a staff member and told them about my unpleasant experience and she said she would look into it. I never heard back from her. I have been paying membership fees since January and have not been going. I wouldn't recommend this facility due to the way that we were treated on that 2nd day. I would not recommend it for anyone with special needs.
