When my wife and I decided to check out some of the nice lakes around Ardmore. We just climbed into the RV and took off. (Retired people can do that) well on the way from our home in Texas. The wife took inventory of our food and drink. We came up short on the drink. So we Googled Ardmore liquor stores and decided that Firstdownphils was just off the freeway and had plenty of room to get our RV in and out. Once we arrived there we were pleasantly surprised to find such a great selection of liquor wine and beer. I enjoy a good single malt Scotch and the wife loves her Merlots. Both were in abundance and the selections were great. Phil was well informed and a real pleasure to talk to. The prices were good and the store was well laid out. My wife enjoyed the lakes so much that we have put Ardmore and Firstdownphils on our travel calendar, for this summer’s travels. We look forward to coming back to Ardmore and enjoying the hospitality Oklahoma in so famous for.
