This is my first visit down south of Oklahoma to Lake Murray,The grounds are to me gorgeous,the campers we had around us were friendly and very sociable ..We came during the wetbike rally 2017 ,the water is absolutely beautiful and has many scenic adventures..GIVE IT A CHANCE AND YOU WILL FALL TOO!!
I love this lake. Trying to hear myself think over three different campsites fighting over who's music was louder made me leave a day early July 4th though. I'm not a fan of the tuba...

Camping fees are too high, especially for it being an ant pile. The are all over the place.
