Absolutely the best food, service and atmosphere in Southern Oklahoma!!!
We had a wonderful meal in a nice quiet atmosphere. The service was great. My steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection and was tender as you'd ever want.
For the price paid, I'd expect the food to come out singing and dancing. We paid 21.99 for some 8 dollar catfish. And even though I didn't end up getting a steak, not for lack of trying, I was relieved when they offered to take it off the ticket. The London broil was basically a raw, seared, round steak, with over seasoned mushrooms piled on top. Even though I had ordered Medium rare and it was practically Blue, I could barely cut with a steak knife. I couldn't believe how much I paid for something I was so dissatisfied with. The waitress did her best, but the owner did even bother to come out and address the situation! She took the steak back to be cooked more, it was still raw. She tried to replace with another steak. I asked for a sirloin, this time cooked more medium. The sirloin I got was just as raw if not worse than the Broil. She then offered to take the steak off the ticket. And I'm glad because at that point I was mentally done with the whole thing. I sure hope this was just an irregular situation because the reviews I see of this place make me question the level of expectations people have. As a comparison, take Misty's steakhouse in Lincoln, NE. Fireside charges the same prices if not more, and Misty's is incredible. We gladly paid $26 dollars a piece for prime rib there, would have paid more. I'm not cheap, but I have expectation when someone charges $28.99 for a "London Broil". Cotton patch charged less than $20 for steak, potato and delicious grilled shrimp. They blow the doors off Fireside.
Drinks are great also.
Been eating here for years and it’s always great with great food and service.
Needless to say, I won't return. The entire visit, I was still hoping that they would surprise me. I gave them every possible benefit of the doubt that I could. But at a point, it's just over and done with. And this place doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned.
For 56 dollars we got, greasy fried mini bread sprinkled with cheese, 2 regular drinks, 1 small bowl of kraft mac n cheese, and soggy criss cut fries my son wouldn't touch, Salad, 2 baked potatoes, a few strips of dry catfish, and 2 pieces of fried shrimp (that they charged 7.99) for. I was still charged 8.99 for the baked potato (and salad and bread)... I also noticed up charges on my son's meal. The menu said 5.99 for mac n cheese. They took the liberty to go ahead and charge 6.99. Really? It was a pudding bowl's worth of mac n cheese...
Local steak house great for a nice date, a special occasion with family or friends, or just a good meal after a day on Lake Murray. We've been here with swim suits still wet and seen nice evening wear and everyone is made to feel welcome no matter what! Great atmosphere and the food is wonderful. Don't overlook the pork chops (makes a great meal to split) and we are still trying to figure out what the addictive drug is they use in the salad that is served family style!!
