I would like to start by saying that I have heard nothing but good things about this company and all experiences are my own and probably not the common.
Chris Boswell was awesome!! Super nice and fast to get the work done. He explained all my options and we are excited to purchase a new AC unit from Hunter. Chris made sure our current unit will work until we get the new one & we are grateful for it. Y'all also got out here the morning after my call at 10pm at night!! Amazing!! Thanks Hunter heat and air!!!!
I had a poor experience because i had a tech come and give me a quote for a new replacement system. Upon doing so he let me know that I had little to no insulation in my attic but reassured me that they would spray some in as an incentive to use them. The next time I called to get things rolling to replace the system the tech told me that he would only do it if I bought the higher of the two quotes but that's not what was told to me.
I don't think this is how the company is as a whole but my local branch I would not trust to install a new system for me due to my experience from what I was told to start with from the tech then the upsell tactic and my conversation with the manager.
So I called the company to remedy the problem after being told I would receive a call back twice that did not happen I waited until the following morning. I made contact with a manager locally after explaining the situation the manager in so many words told me that I was not quoted that but was willing to honor the techs word and do it. But then had a poor attitude about it like I was trying to get something for free ( I was not I just wanted what I was quoted) Then made it a point to tell me that the call was being recorded like I was going to call to get him in trouble or something this is the part that killed the deal why mention that I was not being irate or unreasonable. This and the poor customer service and being told I was a liar about what was quoted to me is the reason for the poor review. I will just go to the next company.
I can't say enough good things about Hunter Heat & Air! My AC wasn't working properly when I called on a 100 degree Saturday evening. (My home was 90 degrees inside!!) I was greeted by the kindest & most empathic dispatcher, Laura, who said she would send someone out right away! Not long after that, I received a text from the company stating my technician, Chris Popejoy, was on his way. The informative text included a photo of Chris so I would know who would be arriving at my door late at night...this made me feel much safer! Chris also called me to say he was on his way. Chris assessed & remedied my AC problem quickly & accurately; he was extremely professional & knowledgeable! It was late at night & he had been working ALL day; I knew he must have been tired, but he still acted with patience & kindness as if I were his very first appointment...THANK YOU Chris! And THANK YOU Hunter Heat & Air for the most thorough experience I've ever had all around...I appreciate the detailed service! I highly recommend this company to anyone in need!!
I had a guy named Zane come out. He was incredibly polite and knowledgeable. He did great work on my AC. He explained everything to me clearly so I could understand. It was without a doubt, the best AC repair experience I've had. Price was excellent as well. A+. Strong case to get a customer for life.
Shane is an excellent serviceman and with an 89 degree house he could of sold me an old shoe as a new cooling system. Instead, he was honest, had the face of an angel, and got my coolness back on my old, old system in about an hour. Thank you Hunter H/A (and Shane) your worth a million bucks, I'm just glad I didn't have to pay that!!
