Next one star review. Yes the gate is 71 inches, but guess what, if it fits you can go in. I have seen the new can am in there multiple times, but it takes two people to get it through or some preparation by a solo rider. First way is two people. Pull up close, and centered. Then lift the front up. The tires can the. Rub through. Then lift the back and the back tires can do the same. SECRET: one opening is bigger than the other.
Solo way. Ratchet straps. Lower a arm to lower a arm. Across the front and across the rear. Attach and tighten, roll forward then tighten again. Do this to gain the most lift and narrowing. Then rub right through.
I may be able to clear up a couple one star reviews. First, the gate closes at sunset. Most of the attendants do stay at the gate a little later for people running behind. Second everyone has phones and weather apps. It's listed there too. Set an alarm! Third there once was a time, night riding was allowed, but too many search helicopter calls to find a drunk person mad at their significant other and walking around lost, put an end to that. Third, the attendants don't get paid or get anything based on your tickets. When they jump your butt for something it due to a safety risk for yourself and others. They really do care about you and really enjoy seeing your smiling faces.

We really enjoyed our 2 days stay. But be careful for the mud very easy to get stuck I got my Kawasaki 140 stuck had to walk back to camp. We spent two hours getting it out of the mud then went on to some trails and the bike flooded and we had to leave it overnight. The next day some very helpful folks help us find it. I would definitely go to Lake Murray State Park again just be careful of the mud on the ATV trails.
A spacious campground/RV park with lots of shade and full hook ups. This place was clean and seemed very safe. The ATV trails were great for all skill levels and there were even water access spots! I had a blast!
